not sure if you guys have seen this already, but i hadn't...its a review by sugarbuzz magazine of trashlight's set at cruefest...
'Some street smart, tattooed, badass fuckers from Philly were headed up next. Trashlight Vision just wrecked the place with some trashy three cord in your face shit. Frenzy fun at full steam ahead.
Acey Slade is the ringleader and is a rock icon. Sporting the blonde look, guitarist Steve Haley's bite is as bad as his bark, ripping the steel strings at a feverous pace. A punk like no other, Lenny Thomas was behind the kit doing his thing like his life depended on it.
And then there is bassist Roger Segal. I hate to blow your rep Roger, but you are one down to earth bastard. I had the pleasure of talking to Roger outside The Whisky and he had some keen insights into rock and playing in a band. “We like to play. We will play anywhere at any time. We are not one of those bands that say; oh I don’t have my Mesa Boogie so I can’t go on sort of shit. Rock isn’t brain surgery.” I like that. These guys are the real deal.
Trashlight Vision put on one hell of a show. I have no idea what the songs were called, but they kicked some serious shit. Oh, and they did “Red Hot” from Motley, that was just that.'
