Hi everyone!

I hope everyone is doing well and wanted to thank you all again for the hard work both in the US and Internationally in support of The 69 Eyes. I have been handling my site for almost a year now and I have met a lot of great people and unfortunately a few rotten eggs. Those can be thrown away before they stink up the place, BUT that being said I am not giving up! I love this band and the fans that make it worthwhile. Most of US Team69 consists of people that are into the Street Team for the same reason I am...because they want to promote The 69 Eyes and see them rise to a new level in their career!

That being said I am in the process of improving my site...

Yes it is a fan site, MY FAN SITE sharing my views and what other fans share with me in reference to The 69 Eyes but it also a place for US Team69 members to go for photos, information, interviews, contests and links to other cool 69 Eyes sites worldwide. I have added a US Team69 Affiliates page for the awesome international sites that have requested to be part of our "US Team69"! I will also be adding two new objectives pages for 2006 consisting of street and internet objectives. We will be announcing all the captains the first week of May so you still have time to request a spot! I will also continue to have special interviews and news here on "our" board and hope everyone continues to feel comfy in the environment we have created.

Please keep in mind that unless someone is: a moderator on this board, listed on the contact pages of one of my sites or on the contact page of my new promotions company site they are in NO WAY affiliated with me or represent me or the Team. The internet is a scary place! SO just because someone is listed as a "friend" on MySpace doesn't mean I "friends" with these people in real life. I personally despise MySpace but it is a way to get the word out on bands. That's it as far as I am concerned!

it's us who have to thank you for this awesome board, the great work you did for the Eyes with organizing, interviewing, keeping us as close to them as possibly can be, for the great flow of information you provided us with on your site and on this board. Although we may have had some rotten eggs...well, this happens in the best of families, doesn't it? Nevertheless we have many and many worthy and really cool members on this board and I am happy to be a part of it. I love the atmosphere here and I keep checking back on the various sites almost every day because so much great new stuff keeps coming.
It's indeed almost a year now that I've known you and I don't regret having buried you under a pile of Jyrki-pictures back then. You're an awesome person *bows down very low* and I'm almost sure I'm not the only one who wants to say 'Thank you, Jo.'
It's an amazing step from having this board and a fan site to your great new promotion company and I am glad and proud you did it and took this step!

And I wanted to say thank you to all of you who have worked so hard for all this and made it possible to have such a great family here. Keep loving them

To tell you the truth, this is the first Street team that I joined. (the only other's Private Line).Yup, not even HIM's US street team(and they're my fav. band)...why??? The atmosphere was just too-what's the word-umm...not too friendly at times .
But when I saw this website by accident, you have no idea how happy I was. I finally found a board where ppl. can actually "behave", and have fun!!! . I love the 69 Eyes to bits, and like you, love promoting them in any way possible. Now even my friends are hooked!! .
Again, I want to thank you Jo, for this wonderful website and for caring as much as you do for the Eyes.(and other bands). I love ya to bits-well, WE love ya to bits and appreciate everything you do.

Like Thorn this is my first and proably gonna be my ONLY Street team site I'll join, everyones real friendly here and we all like to hear each others veiws, alot of people I know are on other street teams like HIM and Green Day and say all the time that what they say is criticized and laughed at by others.

I actually got sent to the site by accident when looking for Jussi pictures on google! And I talked to Jo and she was really sweet in helping me join the street team and everything! All the stuff we talk about here is wonderful and hilarious too, and yes, we mind our manners and try to be extra carful not to hurt someone if we don't agree with them. And all the support people get when they post their drawings or pictures of their models is so sweet!

Thanks to Jo this is all able to happen, and because of our love for the Eyes we are able to just be ourselves and talk with people of all ages and actually connect!! I've never been able to tlak like I have with other people and older people as well as I have! All thanks to Jo! We all love you to death and love what you've done for us and the Eyes!!!

the eyes ARE my favorite band and i feel so blessed to have joined this community. not only is the band completely amazing, but the fans... everyone i've met here have been just as amazing. it's been the best experience and it's come at a very hard time in my life and has been one of the few bright spots so i am eternally greatful! thank you for scarificing your time, money, patience, resources, etc. to do all of this. i know it has been a labor of love. i'm so glad there are so many other people that love this band as much as i do and see how talented they are. that they are the total rock n roll package so to speak and there is no reason why they shouldn't take over the world!! cheers to you and to everyone else!

I couldn't agree more.This past tour opened my eyes so much and really made me think.I mean I remember the days of going to see the band you love just because you genuinly cared about the music,I saw and met alot of people who pretty much had forgotten all about that.It's sad and those few rotten eggs make things lame for the rest of us.
Oh and the internet thing,Can I get an AMEN! Haha

Well I am with thorn and gothic. This is the only Street Team I have ever joined and it is because I love the band so much. And when I started coming to this site and seen that it wasn't like alot of the others, it truly amazed me. I hope to be an Eyes Street Team member for a long time. Firstly I would like to thank Jo for all the help she has given me so far with starting up the Australian Street Team! I have only "chatted" with Jo through a few of my babbling emails & PM's but she has been always been friendly & helpful! ;D Plus a HUGE thanx for advertising us on her site! ;D

I am NOT a new fan to The 69 Eyes BUT I am a new fan of her site & forum. I think what you have done with everything looks awesome! What I do like most is how you seem to make The 69 Eyes accessible to their fans.

I hope that I am able to promote The 69 Eyes as much as I can in Oz as I know they do have a HUGE following Down Under!

Yep, what I am going to say is just about the same as those before me.

The 69 Eyes are indeed my favorite band, and no band comes close to reaching their amount of awesomeness in my mind. If it wasn't for this forum and the website, I would go insane with all of the pent up love for them. It's great to have other people with the same obsessions. Anyway, this also was the only street team that I have ever really been active on because it's very rare that you find a group like ours where everyone gets along fine and many friends can be made.

Jo, you have done an uber awesome job with everything, and I can't wait to see what there is to come in the future. There is no way that we would all be together like this without you, and the best is yet to come!

though I have never truly talked to you. You seem like a kickass person. I have been in love with the music The 69 Eyes have produced over the years just enjoying the life of what it gives with it beautiful melody's in between. The site you created was something I had stumbled upon by pure accident when searching google. And when I came to the site I fell in love with the idea of even being apart of a band's street team that has rocked us to the next century, though I'm not fully sure if I am apart of the street team, I guess its the thought that counts of just being able to support the guys. I truly enjoy just being able to talk to people with the same passion for music that I have. As the nights await us, its just starting to get better cause the future awaits us little vampires lol.

the 69 Eyes are my favorite band. I've only been a huge fan for about 6-8 months now & I fell passionately in love with them after seeing the vids to Lost Boys & Wasting the Dawn.
Thank you so much for sharing your love of music & passions with us as well. You are a wonderful person & anyone would be truly blessed to know you both personally & thru talking with you. You're doing great & please keep up the good work

Wow what a thread! Yes, i love this site, the people here, and the 69 eyes! Keep it goin! Love it! Mama you have and are doing an absolutely wonderful job on everything and its kickass! This site is my favorite site out of all the ones i go to and the first one i check before i go to sleep and wake up!
